PRODUCT INFORMATION:

Prints

Images are printed on Fujicolor® Crystal Archive II paper which uses a silver halide process and RA4 chemistry, mimicking the traditional analog printing process. Instead of negatives, our digital mini-labs use lasers to expose the paper and produce prints that rival and even surpass those originating from film images. Results are generally identical to or superior to prints from film. This paper boasts a life expectancy of over 75 years when taken care of correctly. Glossy and Matte finishes are available on all prints, including the new Fujifilm® Lustre® finish, striking a gorgeous balance between the previous two options.

Canvas Prints

Canvas prints are created with a commercial grade professional printer, which features a Micro Piezo DX3™ print head and uses 7-color, pigment-based UltraChrome™ Ink. In order to produce the highest quality product possible, images are printed on Premier Art™ Water Resistant canvas that has been created especially for enlarged portrait and fine art printing. This surface features a true canvas texture with a fine finish. Canvas prints have a Giclee Satin Matte coating. The UltraChrome™ ink is archival and it is oil based. It is also resin coated for longevity. The coating is water based. It has a UV protectant and sealant to help make it water-resistant. The inks and the coating have UV protection. Canvas Prints are stretched mounted on a sturdy wood frame.


Mouse Pads

All Mouse Pads are 1/4th of an inch thick and made out of a high endurance polyester material. At 7.5 by 9 inches, with rounded corners it is the perfect size for any desk, while providing adequate space for ease of use. The surface is printed digitally to provide a beautiful reproduction of almost any artwork.

Coffee Mugs

All mugs (11oz. and 15oz.) are produced from hardened ceramic and printed digitally to provide the highest quality of artwork reproduction. Each mug is heat endurance tested to ensure its use with virtually any type of edible material. They are dishwasher and microwave safe. All mug sizes are available in white.

Postcards

Postcards, like your normal postcard are has available space for address, return address, stamp and a personal message. What is not normal is that this post card makes use of the material and printing technology of our normal prints, therefore ensuring exceptional quality.

What is a Lustre® finish?

Lustre® is the new high quality finish from FujiFilm® which offers a perfect balance between Glossy and Matte.
The quality this finish adds to your artwork is beyond description. You must see it to believe it.

What is a matte finish?

A matte finish offers a flat, texturized finish with little to no glare.

What is a glossy finish?

A glossy finish has a smooth, shiny, lustrous, mirror-type surface.

Which is better, Glossy, Matte or Lustre® finishes?

It depends on what is being printed.
The Glossy option is perfect for detailed/technical prints or photograph images.
The Matte finish is better for paintings and darker prints.
The Lustre® is wonderful for both, capturing the best qualities from Glossy and Matte and combining them into one beautiful finish.

What are Canvas prints mounted on?

Canvas prints are stretched and mounted on a sturdy wood frame approximately 3/4" deep. The area that is wrapped around the mount can be considered to be similar to the bleed of a regular image. That is, a small area around the border of your image that would be cut off in a full bleed print. On a Canvas print, it is wrapped around the edge. Approximately 1.5 inches of the image is wrapped around the mount, but due to the manual mounting, results may or may not vary.

Can I buy a frame with my prints?

Frames are available for a selection of print sizes we offer. Currently, panoramic prints do not have frames available. At this time we offer frames for the following size prints:

11x14
16x20
18x24
20x30

Not all print sizes have available frames. If the print is not showing as available with a frame, it is because we do not carry a frame for that size print. Please note you cannot frame a glossy finish as the print sticks to the glass.

More frame sizes will be available in the future.

What Sizes are available?
Sizes for each print varies depending upon availability, please view the image you are interested in for details.

What happens if my order does not arrive or arrives damaged?

If your order does not arrive within a reasonable amount of time, please contact our Prints Customer Service department.

Refunds: If you are unsatisfied with the quality of your order because it arrives damaged or defective, you can request a reprint or a refund. The time frame for requesting a refund or replacement is within within 7 days of delivery. Your credit card will not be charged until the order has left our printing facility and is on it's way to you. Please note that refunds and reprints will NOT be given on orders shipped via regular USPS post with no shipping tracking or delivery confirmation.

If you use a standard credit card a hold will be placed by your bank on your account in the amount of the purchase at the time of your order and will remain on your account for up to 5 business days. The funds will not be taken from your account until your purchase is shipped.

Please note that PayPal does not support pre-authorization post-authorization services for holds, and your Paypal account will be charged upon submission of your order if you choose to use this service. If using PayPal to purchase items with an eCheck (electronic check), the order will not begin processing for up to 14 days from the order's placement while the check clears.

Order Cancellations: deviantART can only cancel orders if they have not yet begun processing. If you wish to cancel your order and it has already begun processing, you will need to return the order for a refund.

Order Returns: If you wish to return your order, you may refuse the package upon delivery, or alternatively, address the package to the following for a refund:

2) The reason for the return
3) Your request for a reprint or refund
4) The inspector number that was included in the package
5) The amount paid for the return shipment (we will reimburse you for this charge)

When returning items to our lab, it is strongly suggest you use a shipping method that allows for delivery confirmation. This way you will not only know for sure that your items arrived and when, but will have proof of delivery in the event of any problems along the way.

How long will it take for my order to be shipped?

Orders which only include prints up to 20x30'' will be processed and shipped within one to three business days from ordering.

Orders which include any of the following items can experience a delay on shipment up to two weeks from ordering because of the extended processing they must undergo. The following items may also be shipped separately to expedite the reception of your order.

You can check the status of your order by navigating to the shop side of deviantART and clicking on the "my account" button. This will take you to a list of all of your current orders and their status.

What methods are available for shipping?

deviantART currently offers shipping through either the USPS or FedEX. During the checkout process you will have the option of selecting different shipping methods. Please note, FedEx does not ship to PO Box addresses.

What are the shipping charges?

Shipping charges vary depending on the size of the prints being ordered, the type of shipping chosen and where the prints are being shipped. You will be shown the shipping charges before the order is submitted, so feel free to go through the checkout process just far enough to get an estimation of shipping charges.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Shipping times depend on a combination of your location and the shipping options you choose. The methods offered to you are determined by the order, the destination, and what the vendor has available as an option. The options that come up for you are what are available for your order.
The longest an order shipped to an address within the continental US should take for delivery is 2 weeks.
Orders shipped outside the continental US can sometimes take up to 3 to 6 weeks via normal post; depending on the holdup they may receive in customs.
Please note, there is no tracking information for orders shipped USPS regular mail. If you would like your orders to arrive in a timelier manner and have tracking information, please choose one of the FedEx (International Economy or International Priority) shipping options, if those are available in your location. If they are, they will be presented to you upon checkout.
