A Commercial Fashion Illustrator for men's and women's clothing during the years that her
children were growing up, Mary turned to colored pencil in 1991. She went to Oregon, took a workshop with the top colored pencil artists on the West Coast and began to develop her graphic skills towards the fine art world. Returned two more times.
Mary and her husband, Jack, have two grown children and 3 grandchildren. They have lived in Chagrin Falls for 28 years. She is presently working in
mixed media, as well as colored pencil, charcoal and graphite.
The joy that I get from drawing & painting is overwhelming to me. My gratitude can only be expressed by "giving back" and doing the very best that I can.
